Dear Friend of Bellarmine,
As you may know, this year's Golden Bell Auction has been canceled due to current health agency guidelines related to community events. Bellarmine will instead present a virtual Golden Bell consisting of an online auction this week.
While we won’t be able to celebrate together on Saturday, we have received early responses showing that our community is very understanding of this unique situation and still very much wants to support the important cause of contributing to our Direct Tuition Assistance Fund at Bellarmine. With that said, we will be including our entire community in this year's online auction - so now, everyone can participate and support the Golden Bell!
- Online Bidding: Our silent auction will be available via our Greater Giving mobile platform. Many of our live auction items - like 49ers Season Tickets, Screaming Eagle, A Golfer’s Dream, Graduation Balcony Seating, and more – will also be available for online bidding. You can see the full line up of our “live auction” and premium silent auction items in THIS UPDATED CATALOG.
- Auction Opening and Closing: Our online auction will open by Wednesday evening (3/11) and will close on Saturday (3/14) at 11 p.m. When the auction opens, you will be emailed a link that will allow you to register as a bidder and take part in the action!
Golden Bell proceeds are critical to our ability to meet the needs of our students receiving tuition assistance. Canceling the Golden Bell was the responsible action, yet it comes with financial consequences. We would be grateful if you would consider supporting the online auction, whether by bidding on items or making a contribution to our Direct Tuition Assistance Fund. We are confident that the Bellarmine community will rally during these challenging times.
